The 31st European Meeting of the Departments of Nursing and Midwifery started in Larissa (photo & video)

The start of the 31st European Meeting of the Nursing and Midwifery Departments of European Universities of the Florence Network took place on Tuesday morning. The ceremony took place in the Great Amphitheater of the Department of Nursing and 51 Departments of Nursing and Midwifery from 22 European University Institutions are participating.

This year, the Annual Conference is hosted in Larissa, specifically at the Nursing Department of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly, based in the Gaiopolis Complex.

The event was attended by, among others, Metropolitan Hieronymos of Larissa and Tyrnavos, the deputy governor P.E. Larissa, Maria Galliou and Deputy Mayor of Education and Sports, Iraklis Gerogiokas.

The Florence network

The Florence network (https://florence-network.org) is one of the oldest University Networks for Nursing and Midwifery founded in Europe with the aim of promoting education through international cooperation in matters related to innovation and research.

The conference will take place in the Department of Nursing from 22 to 26 April 2024 and will bring together faculty and students of Nursing and Midwifery departments from across Europe to develop and showcase innovation, research and best practice in education and healthcare delivery , given that the theme of this year’s meeting is about strengthening resilience through educational and digital innovation “Strengthening resilience through educational and digital innovation”. Tthe conference has been approved by the body EthicalMedTech and is under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religions and Sports.
