Her team Coffee Island, continues, with dedication, to care about all that makes the world better. As a supporter of various initiatives that strengthen the local society and in constant cooperation with University of Patras, the people of Coffee Island choose to be next to young students and future scientists, supporting the multidimensional action of the University of Patras. Institutions established by the educational institution, such as the Student Excellence Awards, the Welcome-UP Festival, the TEAAPI Children’s Festival, etc. have joined Coffee Island’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, as actions that bridge business with the local community and the new generations.

Strengthening the link between the private and public sectors in the promotion of health and science for the common good, for the first time and with great joy, the people of the company proceeded to donation of five brain models (Brain Kits) to the Medical School of the University of Patras and in particular to Department Neurosurgery. These are reusable brain models, which enable young neurosurgeons to train in surgical procedures, under conditions that resemble real ones.

The donation of “Brain kits” was decisive for the successful organization of the international educational seminar: ATHENS VASCULAR AND ENDOVASCULAR HANDS ON COURSEheld on April 12-13, 2024, under the auspices of the Hellenic Neurosurgery Society.

“Supporting science at a practical level through such movements is a defining factor in the evolution of medical practice. The contribution of the private sector with donations, such as hers Coffee Island, is proving to be critical in facilitating access to modern medical technology equipment. Despite the fact that young doctors are mainly trained in public health systems, supporting science by providing modern equipment promotes their development and strengthens their skills.” said about Deputy Professor of Neurosurgery at the Medical School of the University Patron, Dr. Vasilis Panagiotopoulos.
