The students of the two sections of the 3rd grade as well as the 3D Printing group that operates at 1The Model High School of Mytilini “Byron Sivolapenko”, participated this year with three (3) projects in the global Moon Camp competition organized by the European Space Agency, in collaboration with the Greek ESERO Office.

All the students designed with the help of the 3D design application Tinkercad their own 3D designs (spaceship, space facilities, vehicles, etc.) which were then joined to create the space mission of their choice.

Space missions to Titan, Enceladus, Ganymede and Europa to extract hydrocarbons for fuel, find new minerals and test space crops are some of the children’s ideas…..

After a check carried out by the Moon Camp committee, all 3 projects of the school’s student groups were posted on the official website of the ESA (European Space Agency). In the first group the students of department C1 participated with the project “Project Enceladus”. In the second group the students of department C2 participated with the “Project Titan” project. The students of the “3D Printing” group participated in the third group with the “Space life” project.

All students will be invited to participate in a final online event with an ESA astronaut and space experts.
