Two minors from Heraklion were arrested on Monday afternoon by officers of the Police Department of Hersonissos, accused of theft and of the occasional offenses of violations of the law on weapons and the Road Traffic Code.
In particular, after the thorough investigation and preliminary investigation by the police, it emerged that the two minors using I.X.E. car, during the time period from 22.03.2024 to 20.04.2024 they had carried out 10 cases of theft (9 completed and one attempted) from parked vehicles in a coastal area of the Municipality of Heraklion and had removed from them a total of 1,200 euros and personal items worth 2,630 euros.
In subsequent searches of the vehicle and their homes, a knife was found and confiscated, as well as a backpack with clothing and personal items, which were returned to their owners.
The I.X.E. was also seized. car as a means of committing criminal acts.
The preliminary investigation is carried out by the Police Department of Hersonisos.
