In the context of the accreditation of the Erasmus+ program that has 4The Mytilini High School, an educational excursion was held for 13 students and 4 teachers from 14/4 to 21/4 in the city of Almagro, Spain and its capital, Madrid.
During the meeting, a number of activities were carried out such as attending lessons at school with participation in group work, visiting points of environmental interest, guided tours of historical and cultural monuments, most notably the city of Córdoba with its famous mosque, as well as the famous Museums of Madrid, Prado and Reina Sofia
The students were hosted by Spanish student families so they experienced the local culture and lifestyle of their Spanish peers. They communicated with their students and parents, tried traditional flavors, listened and danced to Spanish songs and generally lived for a few days as Spanish teenagers. The previous month the same Spanish students had come to Lesvos and had been hosted by the respective students, so that there was reciprocity in the hospitality.
All participants returned with a wealth of memories and experiences that will accompany them throughout their lives.
