Three fires broke out within a few hours on Monday afternoon, all in the Ioannina basin.
According to epiruspost, in the first case, a fire broke out in the kitchen of an underground residence in the area of Nea Zoi. Two vehicles of the Fire Service attempted to put out the fire, while material damage was caused to the kitchen area.
Chimney fire in the East
In the second case, the fire occurred in the fireplace chimney of a two-story house in the Anatoli area.
Two Fire Department vehicles were dispatched and no damage was found from the first inspection.
Fire in a detached house in Drosia
The third fire occurred in the kitchen of a detached house in the area of Drosia. Two vehicles arrived at the scene, but the fire was extinguished by the owners of the house and no operation was needed.
The owner of the residence, however, was transported to the hospital by EKAV ambulance as she had minor burns on her hand.
