April 23 has been established internationally by UNESCO as book day.

The Central Public Library of Larissa “Konstantinos Koumas” as part of the events that have started since April 1st to commemorate this day, organizes an event on the theme “Reading what we love” and invites its members and friends to celebrate together by reading texts in poetry and prose that they love and express them.

The event will take place on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 7:30 in the Library Auditorium. The event will be coordinated by Ms. Irini Kollatou, philologist seconded to the Public Library.

Greetings will be addressed by the President of the Ephorate Council Ms. Eleni-Marina Xinopoulou.

Ioannis Marangoulis, musician, will accompany the event with his guitar.

The texts of their own or others will be read by Abella Tania, Anastasopoulou Eleni, Giannakopoulou Ioanna, Zarkazia Bass Stella, Capella Papadimitriou Chrysavgi, Katsiaouni Maria, Koskoros Argyris, Kostoulis Apostolis, Kostoulis Apostolis Stella Davarouka, Maria Papoutsi, Marianna Sveroni, Stavara Eleni, Syropoulou Evangelia, Tzella Sophia, Tzigoura Eleni, Christakis Sophia, Psirras Thomas.
