Yumi Hogan at the exhibition of Mina Papatheodorou – Valyraki in Nafplio

On April 17, the awards for the cultural exchange between Greece and the USA took place, with the visit of the First Lady of Maryland-USA, Yumi Hogan to her exhibition Minas Papatheodorou-Valyraki at the Museum of the Vassilis Papantoniou Foundation-IBP (former Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation) in Nafplion and of the Board Members of the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) in Washington DC.

“Yumi Hogan, painter – First Lady of Maryland-USA, with whom we exhibited together in 2022 in America and in 2019 in Greece, together with members of the board of directors of the National Museum of Women in the Arts Washington DC visited my exhibition in Nafplio” declared Mina Papatheodorou-Valyraki.

At the IBP Museum – Vassilis Papantoniou Foundation, the awards were presented for the cultural exchange and friendship of the two artists Minas and Yumi Hogan, as well as the cooperation and friendship of the two Museums, for the promotion of cultural exchanges between the 2 countries of Greece and the USA.

The board members of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, senator Mary Mochary, Dr. Annita Auback and the patron and restorer of the iconic Washington Museum, Climis Laskaris, received the awards from the President of the IBP Mrs. Georgia Samaras.
