--

African dust will cover the whole country again on Tuesday (23.04.2024), while the weather promises a high rise in temperature and stormy winds.

According to ERT meteorologist Nicoleta Ziakopoulou, the African dust invasion will reach its peak on Tuesday. Forecasts even state that African dust will cover almost the entire country.

On Wednesday a westerly wind enters the west and begins to displace the dust further east. So a cleaner atmosphere is expected on Thursday and Friday.

On Tuesday (23.04.2024) in addition to the greatly increased concentrations of dust that will limit visibility, mud showers are expected to occur mainly in the north and west of the country.

On Wednesday 24/04 the winds will turn to the west will result in the reduction of dust in the Dodecanese and its progressive removal towards the east.
