Tribeca’s new menu is an oasis on the gastronomic map of Thessaloniki.

Tribeca celebrates its 25th birthday and welcomes you to its new era! Imagine sitting in the coolest environment of the city, enjoying excellent American-Japanese flavors and in front of you the unique view of Thermaikos Gulf.

Closing 25 years as one of the protagonists in the entertainment scene of Thessaloniki, Tribeca is transforming from a dynamic café-bar to a bar-restaurant with fine cuisine. Without the impersonal and distant – for many – meaning of the term, but with the high quality and sophisticated aesthetics that are accessible, it maintains its casual character as an ideal destination for every moment of the day.

Modern space, with high aesthetic touches, does not need a lot of unnecessary things with the unique background it has. Its large and small wooden rotundas with comfortable seats and evocative lighting – during the day the shop is bathed in natural light – compose a very elegant and welcoming setting. Plus, the comfortable bar, where you can have a drink or a meal. Always, however, with constant the wonderful open view and the interesting porch, which one can only enjoy in New Beach.

The ID

This year, Tribeca focuses more on the sense of taste and deifies it led by Chef Alsi Sinanaj, who aims to marry Japanese and American culture and cuisine. The weight falls on grilling – meat grilling technique – combining concepts and methods, such as robata, cooking on fire, with yakitori, the Asian version on skewers. With tapas, as well as family style dishes, it places special emphasis on raw materials – AA quality meats, roots and fresh vegetables -, on cooking, but also on the ritual of preparing the dishes, combining all the qualities in the art of taste.

What definitely elevates any meal is the pairing with the signature cocktails, which you can also enjoy on their own: Tanqueray N10, violet & jasmine cordial, yuzu, aquafaba, Don Julio blanco, mezcal, strawberry, sichuan italian bitter, palo santo , the Zacapa, passion fruit, rhubarb bitter, lemongrass & pineapple, coca-cola note or the Bulleit, rasberry cordial, ginger foam, all with the signature of Bar manager, Yiannis Bakou.

The tops

Here the enjoyment begins with starters such as Crispy duck rolls with hoisin sauce, Pork & Shrimp’s Gyoza, which is pork and shrimp in a Gyoza patty with jalapeño mayo sauce, Beef tataki, organic beef tataki with chimichurri sauce, and the Steamed Flame Edamame with sake & Sea Salt, i.e. soybeans quenched with sake butter and lemon. His salads are just as interesting as the rest of the dishes, such as Robata Garden in Quinoa Salad with seasonal grilled vegetables, Tako with cucumber pickles with vinegared octopus.

Menu protagonists, burgers and bao buns∙ Tribeca 25 Smash dry aged with yuca chips, which is slow-aged minced meat, with aged cheddar cheese, Japanese mint leaves and hand-made pickled cucumber, Smash free range chicken with yuca chips pastured chicken, rokoto sauce and Japanese pickle and the Bao bun with crispy duck with aromatic duck and fresh vegetables or chicken and jalapeno mayo or pork belly. Japanese yakitori or yakiniku techniques are revealed through never-before-seen taste experiences with chicken or grilled meat, such as Kokoro & Reba, which is chicken heart and liver, Tskune Japanese kebab on bamboo straw, Miso-Marinated free range Chicken and Cubed Sirloin with chili jam and green asparagus. In the menu you will also find steamed rice with vegetables or grilled meat and vegetables. And for dessert, the cool Yuzu cake will end your meal in a unique way.

Fun Time

During the year, the shop welcomes guest bartenders from award-winning shops, who create top cocktails for spirits lovers. Highlight: Ask to try the sake with plum and yuzu. You haven’t drunk anything like it! In the evenings the dj’s alternate with soul, funk, jazz and electronic playlists, every Thursday the city’s live soul and funk bands form a musical oasis, while Sundays are dedicated to vinyls with collectors or dj’s on the decks from 18.00, such as Stelios Deslis and Costas Zikopoulos set the pace.

Having found the balance and putting its own stamp on such a privileged and special part of the city, Tribeca is reborn, always kept updated and a benchmark for entertainment with a view.
