The complaint about “cut” material handed over by the police was repeated by the lawyer of the family of the murdered Kyriaki Grivas.
The lawyer spoke of deliberately “cut” footage from the security cameras, statements of a Police officer and obstruction of the investigation into the femicide.
“We submitted a request to submit all the material from the cameras and the investigator gave an immediate order from the AT and the surrounding Departments, because the material she had in her hands was cut,” said the lawyer, insisting that the explanation she gives the Police for operating the camera only with movement, “is not correct at all”.
“The investigator had five blocked videos. With the material she has in her hands, no investigation can be done”, he added and made it known that the mother herself will transfer to Internal Affairs, when her situation allows it.
However, she emphasized that, in her question to an EL.AS officer, about whether the footage from the cameras has been confiscated or handed over, by the same uniformed officers who are under investigation by the authorities, the answer she got was: “if you answer, greater havoc will be created.”
Thus, he concluded that, “everything shows that the footage from the cameras is edited.”
In addition, as E. Tzoulis said, the management of Korydallos prisons, where the woman killer is held, did not allow the expert appointed by the Prosecutor’s Office and the second appointed by the family, to examine him, with the excuse that, “there was no earlier information about their transfer to prisons”.
“I will request the acceleration of all procedures,” he said, complaining of obstruction in the process.

Specifically, speaking to ERT, he emphasized that “as the family of the mother of the deceased Sunday, we requested and it was accepted that it be confiscated and delivered to her in a continuous flow and not cut in order to be examined by our own technical expert of the family, so that it can be established that it is the original material”.
“What we’re asking for is all the material in a continuous stream, and not just from the same day, we’re talking about a three-day stream, because the one that Mrs. Investigator has in her hands is cut at the disputed point of the 4 previous knives, which the girl received in his body, in the straight line of the outpost,” he explained.
