According to the latest information, there are scattered outbreaks of fire in the grassy area in Paros on the provincial road Paroikia – Naoussa, which are however being dealt with by the Fire Brigade. The fire broke out at about 4:30 PM on Monday in the Elitas area of ​​the island, near residences. Very strong winds are blowing in the area until this time. To extinguish the fire, the latest information states that 19 firefighters with 7 vehicles are working, while a helicopter is helping from the air.

In addition, four firefighters with two vehicles are expected to arrive by ferry from Naxos. Volunteers and local water bodies are also assisting at the scene. Earlier it is noted that a 112 message was sent to the residents of the Pyrgaki area in Parikia, in order to move away to the beach due to the fire.
