Residents of Kallithea: To save “SINE ALEXANDRA”, to keep culture alive in our neighborhoods – The Press Project

As SINE ALEXANDRA had announced on Friday: “we inform you that Wednesday 24/4 will be the last day of operation of the cinema as the owner of the venue has chosen not to renew our contract.
We took over the cinema in 2015 and have been operating it for 9 years trying to be worthy of your expectations and we believe that we have honored your trust.

We don’t know what future Alexandra will have, maybe the time has come to close the last winter cinema of Kallithea.

Thank you very much for supporting us all these years and we wish you all the best.

The news of the suspension of the cinema raised awareness among the residents of Kallithea who proceeded to issue a resolution in which they state that “as residents of the area and not only, we ask the competent institutions – bodies (Municipality of Kallithea, Region of Attica, Ministry of Culture, etc.) a.), finding a solution in every way to save the only winter movie theater in the whole of Kallithea.
