For the 9th year, the Mediterranean Yacht Show turns the spotlight on Nafplio, once again confirming its dynamic in the global yachting agenda.

The beautiful Nafplio takes on another dimension every year, hosting the largest exhibition of professional manned pleasure boats in the world and being one of the most important stations worldwide in yachting. Now he is preparing his welcoming port for her 9th year of the Mediterranean Yacht Show, which will be held by April 27 to May 1, 2024.

Records, of course, are not unheard of for the event. It is worth mentioning that MEDYS 2023 was attended by 92 boats with a total length of 3.5 kilometers filling the port of Nafplio, while, in order to understand the relative size, the number of boats that took part was multiple of those who participated in the respective exhibitions in Antigua (for the Western Hemisphere) and Barcelona (for the Western Mediterranean).

Completing this year 10 years since its establishment, the Mediterranean Yacht Show which is organized by Hellenic Maritime Tourism Association, has now established its position as one of the leading events for professionals in the industry, garnering Greece international attention as the world’s largest professional manned pleasure boat show.

Expectations for this year’s 9th Mediterranean Yacht Show are extremely high, while the presence of a large number of exhibitors for services and supplies related to marine tourism will be resounding. The exhibition is also framed by a series themed events and receptions bringing together yachting professionals from all over the world and placing Greece at the center.

On the occasion of the highly successful kick-off for the 9th MEDYS, the President of the Hellenic Maritime Tourism Association, Mr. Michalis Skoulikidis said about it: “As this year marks 10 years since the organization of the first Mediterranean Yacht Show, we could not have made a better and stronger start than the number of registrations for the participating boats, which no longer fit in the welcoming port of Nafplion. It is a great joy and satisfaction for all of us at the Hellenic Marine Tourism Association, the course of the last 10 years as it is the culmination of the Association’s actions, which have proven in practice that high-quality marine tourism is the spearhead of Greek tourism”.

The exhibition is co-organized by the Hellenic Marine Tourism Association and the Municipality of Nafplion and is under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy.
