Another special accountability meeting of the municipal authority of Kostas Tzoumis was held on Monday, April 22 in the meeting room of the Board of Tripoli in OEBEA.

Afterwards, Mr. Hatzopoulos made a short report on the work that has been done recently in Tripoli and the villages of the municipality.

Mr. Angelakos then spoke about Lake Taka, asking if it belongs to the region or the municipality.

The deputy mayor of the primary sector Mr. G. Hasapis spoke about the lack of irrigation water. In closing, Mr. Tzioumis said that the issue raised by Mr. Gourgaris was very important, but he should not have entered the specific meeting, since the Board of Directors is debating to make decisions and discuss municipal projects.

“The anti-flood projects belong to the district and the Ministry and not the municipality. We can push to protest, but the project is not the mayor’s responsibility.”
