The people of Larisa who attended the political event organized by the Prefectural Committee and the Municipal Organization of Larisa PASOK – Kinima Allagi, in a central hotel of the city, were informed this Monday afternoon about the particularly topical issue of education, with the main speaker being MP Kilkis and the head of education PASOK Stefano Parastatidis.

“PASOK continues throughout the country the campaign to inform citizens about very serious issues, such as education, the public school, an extremely serious issue that, in our opinion, should concern the entire country. Just a short time ago we were “tested” in an “enterprise” by the government to introduce private institutions, colleges, not even universities, which will bring and change the academic map of the country. So we resisted these logics. Today we will explain these, but also our positions on very serious issues related to education and the model proposed by PASOK”, said the Secretary of K.O. of PASOK – Movement for Change and MP of Larisa, Mr. Evangelia Liakoulis.

“I am particularly glad to be in Larissa today and I am even more glad that we are proceeding with a thematic discussion concerning education. Education is a very important pillar, where, together with health, we have invested, we have built our own proposals and we want to analyze them, discuss and co-shape them with the citizens and of course come to what exactly we are thinking about tomorrow. So we want to open the discussion and we do it from Larissa. It is the first event after the bill and we have a lot of interesting things to say”, noted Mr. Parastatides.

The speaker analyzed the general political current affairs, as well as the party’s proposed law on education, while he also spoke about the problems faced by young people today.

The MEP candidate of PASOK – Movement for Change Nikolaos Tsilimigas also spoke at the event, as well as the PASOK Youth network coordinator and MEP candidate Giorgos Tsoumas.

“It is a political event that follows the norm that PASOK has introduced into the public debate lately, which touches on the problems that concern the everyday lives of citizens and tries to propose solutions through an open dialogue”, emphasized in turn the K. Chumas.
