Corfu: Two arrests for drug possession, drunk driving and convictions.

I was arrestedn, early morning hours, yesterday (21.04.2024)atn Corfu, by its police officers Police Directorate, two compatriotsin respective cases,–as the case may be- for possession of narcotics, drunk driving and convictions.

In particular, in the first case, located and arrested, in the city of Corfu, by police officers of the Traffic Accident Control and Prevention Group (O.E.P.T.A.) of the Traffic Department, a 47-year-old citizen, who – initially – it was established to drive car i.h., under the influence of intoxication and to possess trace amount cocaine.Emoreover, there were -2- convictions pending against him of Three members Court of Appeals and the Single-Member Misdemeanor Court of Athens, with total penalties imprisonment -24– months, for the crime of theft.

An additional arrest of a 19-year-old citizen took place on the same day, in an area peripheral to it citys of Corfu, by police officers of the Crime Prevention and Suppression Team (CUP), as in his possession found and confiscated mgrossnessprocessed and raw cannabis.

Those arrested were taken away to Mr. InsHerald of Plemmeliodikan Corfu.
