The issue of Lake Taka and the irrigation project that has been left behind was raised at the special accountability meeting of the municipal authority of Kostas Tzioumi held on Monday, April 22 at the meeting room of the Tripoli Board of Directors at OEBEA.
The deputy mayor of the primary sector of the municipality of Tripoli, Mr. G. Hasapis, answering a related question from Mr. V. Gourgaris, spoke about the lack of irrigation water.
“The Taka Lake project is of the district and the municipal authority has set as a primary objective the support of the primary sector and the municipal authority has pushed towards the completion of the project that will develop the primary sector and keep the new generation in our place”
Finally, Mr. Hasapis mentioned that he was disappointed by Mr. G. Stratakos, Secretary General of the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food, where in his presence in Tripoli and at the “Peloponnisos EXPO” exhibition, he did not mention the project and its completion.
Finally, he added that this omission was covered by the regional governor of Peloponnese, Mr. Ptochos, who promised that the project would be auctioned in May.
