It was held with great success 1o Travel West FTherumthe first major and innovative tourism conference in Western Greece, organized by thebest.gr, the largest regional electronic media, with the participation of Region of Western Greece and its co-organization Chamber of Achaia.
In the Royal Patras conference room, and on the occasion of tourism, politicians, businessmen, people from tourism, sports, culture and the academic community met, in an effort to comprehensively record the landscape in Western Greece and the possibilities that are opening up for tourism at all levels based on domestic and international standards and new emerging trends.
The 1The West Travel Forum raised questions, explored the tourism landscape and submitted proposals that will lead to creative solutions on the basis of a visionary strategic planning for tourism in the wider region.
The opening of the 1st Travel West Forum was announced by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Elena Rapti, who referred to the changes that have taken place in recent years in the preferences of tourists, but also to the necessity of putting all regions of the country on the map of tourism development, so that they can be utilized with the best way their comparative advantages.
