MP Kilkis and head of PASOK’s education department was in Larissa this afternoon Stefanos Parastatidesas a keynote speaker at the event of the Prefectural Committee and the Municipal Organization of Larisa PASOK – Movement for Change on the subject of education at the Metropol Hotel.

From Larissa, PASOK started its events for education after the government’s bill as noted by Mr. Parastatidis, emphasizing that “education is a very important pillar for PASOK, together with health, we have invested, we have built our own proposals and we want to analyze them, discuss with the citizens, co-shape and explain what exactly we are thinking about tomorrow”.

Specifically for the bill, Mr. Parastatidis explained that “the opposition was based only on its unconstitutionality without any alternative proposal, which in our opinion is the quintessence of politics. So we created an ideological division”.

Stefanos Parastatidis also analyzed the general political current affairs and specifically the PASOK law proposal on education and at the same time talked about the problems that young people are facing today.

Even the MP from Larisa of PASOK Evangelia Liakoulis noted that “PASOK continues throughout the country the campaign to inform citizens about very serious issues, such as the issues of public school education. Some time ago we were tested in an enterprise of the government to present the private institutions – colleges like these which will change the academic map of the country. So we resisted and today we are talking about our positions on very serious issues related to education and the model proposed by PASOK”, he added.

The MEP candidate of PASOK – Change Movement also spoke at the event Nikolaos Tsilimigas and the PASOK Youth network coordinator and MEP candidate George Tsoumas.

Mr. Tsilimigas referred to his candidacy and Thessaly “which is suffering and has huge problems” emphasizing that “on the part of Brussels, we must help our homeland”.

The PASOK Youth network coordinator and MEP candidate George Tsoumas he emphasized that “we have already started a campaign in order to reach every corner of Greece and communicate our program, our positions and above all the goal which is none other than winning second place in the European elections”.

Also speakers were the NE member responsible for education issues Theodoros Dafoulis and the psychiatrist Myrto Samaras and coordinator the secretary of N.E. Larisa Yannis Malakos.
