Guitar teacher accused of hiring hitmen to kill his physiotherapist

A guitar teacher is on trial from today in his Criminal Court Parisaccused of hiring Georgian executioners to get revenge on his former physiotherapistwhom he held responsible for his chronic pain.

There were a total of ten defendants in this case. The three are tried in absentia, since they are not in France and an arrest warrant has been issued against them. The tenth died in prison last December.

That morning her May 6, 2019 Michel H., a chiropractor-physiotherapist, was crossing a street in western Paris on his way to his office when a car, which had slowed down to let him pass, sped up, ran him over and disappeared. The victim was only injured in the foot and calf. In his statement to the police, he expressed suspicions about Sylvain Ferron, a former patient of his who had accused him ten years earlier of having left him disabled due to a clumsy movement. Feron had reported him to the association of chiropractors-kinesitherapists and managed, citing several medical opinions, to get compensation of 30,000 euros. Tracking his phone revealed that even though all these years had passed, Ferron still hoped to get revenge on him.

The police found that his partner and her father, Georgian nationals, took it upon themselves to find executioners, also Georgians, to attack the physiotherapist. At the beginning of 2018, Sylvain Ferron gave 2,000 euros to a first group of executors, but they did absolutely nothing. His partner found other would-be killers. Three of them arrived in France by plane from Georgia, attacked Michel X. and immediately left for their homeland.

THE Sylvain Feron who, according to his wiretapped conversations, thought they were doing a “bad” job, wasn’t going to stop there but was planning a robbery at the physical therapist’s house. In the meantime, however, he was arrested along with his accomplices. In court he said he would not make a statement at this time. During the preliminary investigation, he assured that he did not want the death of his victim.
