In a joint organization with the office of the EOT of Austria, the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization hosted another Press Trip in the city with the representative of Display magazine, Mathias Steger, as a guest.
Display Magazin is a publication that showcases and highlights issues of the LGBTG+ community. It is the largest LGBTI magazine in Switzerland that has a print and electronic edition with 8,200 monthly online visitors.
The upcoming Europride that will take place from June 21-29 in Thessaloniki was the ideal occasion for the visit of the Swiss journalist who intends to tell his own story about Thessaloniki, as he experienced it during his visit.
It is not the first time that the journalist has visited Greece, but this time, the central axis of his narrative is the destination of Thessaloniki and the options it offers with an emphasis on the life of the LGBTI community.
His trip to Thessaloniki also coincided with the filming of the promotional videos of the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization on behalf of Europride.
Thus, he had the opportunity to get in touch with the representatives and volunteers of the organization, but also to observe from the inside the implementation of a collaborative promotional campaign.
At the same time, in the context of networking and good cooperation between OTTH and Europride, Mr. Steger conducted a series of interviews with the organizers of this year’s event.
The Thessaloniki Tourism Organization took over the tour of the main attractions and the historical center of the city, while also having the opportunity to get to know the city’s gastronomy, through a series of meals and taste tests.
Mathias Steger also showed a strong interest in nearby destinations and renewed his appointment with the city and its people with the promise to travel to Pieria and Halkidiki on his next visit.
