Thessaloniki: The ferry connection with Sporades – Piesi from Angeloudi is cleared

This was highlighted in the context of the presentation of the 2023 study “Profile & Satisfaction of Tourists – Hotel Performance of Thessaloniki” made by the Association of Hoteliers of Thessaloniki in a central hotel at noon on Monday.

Initially, in his statement, the mayor of the city, Mr. Stelios Angeloudis, stated that is immediately preparing a “harsh” announcement to the Ministry of Shipping regarding its non-response to the two letters of the municipal authority regarding the connection of Thessaloniki to the Sporades, which, as he pointed out, “has proven to be rewarding”.

But after a while, towards the end of the event, he announced that he had been contacted by Mr. Stylianidis who assured him that at the end of the month and with the completion of the allocation of funds for the barren line, we will have announcements on the matter.

Earlier, the president of EXTH Mr. Andreas Mandrinos had also commented in his own statement that for the connection with the Sporades “everything is up in the air”, to add that “we don’t want to be beggars”.
