THE Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Gerapetritis is visiting Luxembourg, where he will participate in European Union Foreign Affairs Council. They are included in the agenda of the Council the crisis in the Middle East and the war in Ukraine, for which there will be an exchange of views, via teleconference, of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense of the member states of the European Union with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba and Rustem Umerov.
Also on the agenda is situation in Sudanwhich will be discussed in the presence of the United Nations Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy for Sudan, Ramtane Lamamra.
Finally, Mr. Gerapetritis will participate in European Union-Gulf Cooperation Council High Level Forum.
In the European Union Foreign Affairs Council with the participation of the foreign and defense ministers, in Luxembourg, where developments in Ukraine and EU support are to be discussed, the Deputy Minister of National Defense Yiannis Kefalogiannis will participate.
Mr. Kefalogiannis on the sidelines of the Synod will meet with Minister of Defense of Cyprus Vasilis Palmas.
