Important issues that, among others, concern the improvement of the infrastructure of the Region of Western Greece, but also the recording of its social work, were approved on Monday, April 22, 2024, by the Regional Committee that met under the chairmanship of the Deputy Regional Governor, Charalambos Bonanou.
The agenda, as stated in the relevant announcement, included 67 issues, including substantial interventions in the three prefectures of the Region of Western Greece.
Among them, the improvement of a part of the provincial road Ano Kastritsi – Argyra, as well as the project of upgrading-improvement and maintenance of the provincial road from the intersection of P.E.O. Patras – Athens to Platani.
Moreover, during the meeting of the Regional Committee, the final contractor was selected to undertake the Digital Transformation of the procedures of the Region of Western Greece and part of the files of the Directorate of Transport and Communications.
The Regional Committee even approved the procurement of a bus for the transport of the beneficiaries of the T.P.K. “The Care of Patras”as well as the supply of the necessary mechanical equipment for the operation of the new two-story building for people with mental disabilities.
