The deputy of Niki said from the floor of the Committee of the Parliament that “the world woke up” and “started to distribute cuffs in the churches”.

Nikos Papadopoulos reached the limit on Monday in the Parliament.

The deputy of Niki, speaking to the Social Affairs Committee, not only did not disapprove of the behavior of the party executive in Kavala who slapped the ND MP Angeliki Delikaris, but he emphasized that “Christians started handing out cufflinks”.

“When the vast majority is violated and silenced we will have things like this. Even inside the Church believers are starting to hand out cufflinks” characteristically said Mr. Papadopoulos to general astonishment.

Then, when asked if he condemns the violence, he continued along the same lines: “Of course we condemn the violence but who is causing the violence? Isn’t it sick to say here that there are 5-10 genders and with one statement everyone can change their gender and then change it back? This is crazy stuff what science taught you this? You have to be a sick brain to think of these things”.

Now, after the specific statements, his reaction is expected, first of all head of the “Niki” party organization, Dimitris Natsiou.

We remind you that Mr. Natsios referred his executive who slapped Ms. Delikaris Kavala and effectively expelled her from the party.

We also remind you that a similar episode to the one in which Ms. Delikari was the protagonist, unwittingly, took place in Patras against the Deputy Minister of Transport, Christina Alexopoulou.

Specifically, during an event in Tampahanon square, in memory of the victims of the Turkish occupation, a priest launched a verbal attack on Mrs. Alexopoulou, with exhortations and curses, on the occasion of the bill for the marriages of same-sex couples.
