Complete justification for our faction is the document of the Ministry of the Interior with protocol number 17729 of 23.2.2024 to the decentralized administrations of the state, etc. on the subject: “Providing clarifications on the amortization period for the certificate and on the limitation period for collection of the contribution in money of article 9 of Law 1337/1983 (A’ 33), as well as the debts from fines K.O.K. .”, which, among other things, states the following in conclusion and verbatim:
“municipalities have no legal basis, apart from the exceptional cases defined in the second paragraph of paragraph 1 of article 2 of the a.n. 344/1968, to exceed the rule of five years for the certification and respectively for the collection, citing different estimates or interpretations of their own or of other Services, older than the acceptance of the Opinion or newer”!!!
From the first moment we were informed that the previous municipal authority of the municipality of Argos, Mycenae, communicated with bailiffs debt claims due to the contribution of money that went from the sanctioning of the act of implementation to the “Bridges” and “Theatre” urban planning units of the approved urban plan of Argos , of the Municipality of Argos, Mycenae, which was carried out by the decision of the Regional Governor of Peloponnese, with protocol number 31125/574/30-12-2016, we declared that these monetary contributions are written off and sent incorrectly!!!!
The above document, in addition to justifying the views of our faction, is also a justification of a large part of the society of Argos and of this region which is known as the “southern part”, since after so many years of being held hostage, the much-desired act of implementation was finally carried out, some tried in addition to impose the contribution in money!!! which as it turned out in the end was written off, the amounts imposed would in most cases reach thousands of euros (the residents of the area know) as a result we would have a new economic hostage this time which would be worse than the urban planning that existed for almost forty years!!!
With our application under protocol number 6.834/19.04.2024, we requested from the municipal council of Argos Mykines:
1. to hold a meeting immediately regarding the overall treatment of the matter, declaring the debts time-barred for the entire area in question.
2. to give an order to the competent services to grant a certificate of non-debt so that it is possible for the citizens of the area in question to use it for any legal use (legal actions, building permits, etc.),
For those who rush to argue against our views, allegedly saying how projects will be done in the area, etc.!!!! we have to answer them initially that there are many domestic and European programs from which the municipality can draw financial resources and carry out development and infrastructure projects in the area, but also within the boundaries of the rest of our municipality, let us recall here a typical example that it fits perfectly, that in the area it is planned to build the new school complex of the two primary schools of Argos of the 1st and 7th, on a plot of land of the Municipality of Argos of Mycenae, despite all this the ministry’s program was lost!!!! as we highlighted in the pre-election campaign, while it could be built with program funds without burdening the citizens of the area!!!
