Barrage of incidents for the Fire Service on Monday evening (23/4) in Heraklion
After fire that occurred on Monday afternoon (23/4), in reeds, near the Pankritio Stadium, which was extinguished after an operation by the Fire Service, which is on foot due to the strong southerly winds blowing in the area, another fire incident caused an alarm.
In particular, a fire broke out in an apartment located on Kalokairinos Avenue. Firefighters have rushed to the scene and are working according to the information, while the same sources state that human life is not in danger, as there was no one in the apartment.
Fire in reeds in Pankritio
It is recalled that earlier today a fire broke out in reeds near the Pankritio Stadium in Heraklion, mobilizing the Fire Service.
With the fire department on its feet, due to the strong winds that have been blowing since the morning, an appeal is made, especially today when strong southerly winds are blowing on the island, for citizens to be particularly careful and not to proceed with work that may be the cause of the occurrence of a large fire.
