Kyriakos Mitsotakis chaired a meeting on the planning and coordination of New Democracy’s actions throughout the territory ahead of the European elections
Kyriakos Mitsotakis chaired a meeting with leading government ministers today, with the aim of planning and coordinating the actions of the New Democracy throughout the territory, in view of the European elections of June 9.
Organizational issues were discussed at the meeting and preparations made for the pre-election period were reviewed.
At the same time, Mr Prime Minister divided responsibility for the regions of the country into 12 ministers on the way to the European elections. The ministers will be invited to make tours, alone or in groups, while they will also act as “liaisons” with the Maximos Palace.
The “charges” of the ministers per region are as follows:
- Region of Crete: Kyriakos Pierrakakis
- Peloponnese Region: Makis Voridis
- Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace: Christos Staikouras
- Region of Central Macedonia: Nikos Dendias
- North Aegean Region: Dimitris Kairides
- Region of Western Macedonia: Adonis Georgiadis
- Region of Epirus: Kostas Skrekas
- Region of Thessaly: Kostis Hatzidakis
- Region of Western Greece: Lefteris Avgenakis
- Region of Central Greece: Sofia Zaharaki
- Ionian Islands Region: Olga Kefalogianni
- South Aegean Region: Domna Michailidou
