“Approaching the Divine Passion” at the Holy Church of Panagia Achiropoiitou

An event at the Holy Church of Panagia Achiropoiitos entitled “Approaching the Divine Passion” is organized as part of the Worship Week of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, on Tuesday, April 23 at 20:30.

It is a musical narrative journey, during which the well-known actors Konstantinos Markoulakis, Dimitris Siakaras and Dimitra Antonakoudis they read excerpts from the Gospel according to Matthew as well as excerpts from the works of:

Nikos Karousou, Kostis Palamas, Nikos Kazantzakis, Yannis Varveris and Kyriakos Charalambidis

The universal character of the Divine Passion and Resurrection is interpreted with hymns of the Holy Week from the Orthodox Musical Tradition and the Armenian.
