Each takes on a region with Christos Staikouras being “in charge” of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and Sofia Zaharakis having responsibility for Central Greece
The European elections are just around the corner and a meeting was held in New Democracy under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The object of the meeting in Nea Dimokratia was the planning and coordination of the party’s actions throughout the territory, in view of the European elections on June 9.
Great weight in New Democracy is given to the region, for this reason leading ministers also fall in the battle. Organizational issues were discussed at the meeting and preparations made for the pre-election period were reviewed.
