“Approaching the Divine Passion”: Event at I.N. Panagia Achiropoiitou in the framework of the Devotional week of the municipality of Thessaloniki

One musical narrative journey, during which the actors Konstantinos Markoulakis, Dimitris Siakaras and Dimitra Antonakoudis they read excerpts from the according to Matthew’s Gospel as well as extracts from the works of Nikos Karouzos, Kostis Palamas, Nikos Kazantzakis, Yannis Varveris and Kyriakos Charalambidis will take place as part of the Worship Week of the municipality of Thessaloniki tomorrow, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. at the Holy Church of Panagia Achiropoiito.

O universal character of the Divine Passion and Resurrection it is performed with hymns of the Holy Week from the Orthodox Musical Tradition and the Armenian. Performed by:

  • Photios Giannakakis, archon Protopsaltis of the Holy Archdiocese of Constantinople
  • Paris Gounas, Archon Hymnoid of the Holy Great Church of Christ
  • Petros Papaemmanoul, Arch Master of the Patriarchate of Alexandria
  • Siranous Tsalikian, Subwoofer

Students of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki are equal.
