The 2nd grade of the 6th GEL of Larisa successfully carried out a three-day educational trip (from 11/4 to 13/4) in Corfu.

During their stay on the beautiful island of Phaeacians, they toured the Old Town (Spianada, Liston) and worshiped the indestructible tabernacle of Saint Spyridon in the eponymous Church of the island’s Patron Saint, where they were welcomed by the Larissa priest Fr. Themistocles Mourtzanos.

They also visited the Museum of Asian Art housed in the Palace of Saints Michael and Georgios, where they admired the impressive exhibits of its collections while they did not fail to go to the Cannon at the Vlachernon Monastery and admire the view towards Pontikonissi.

The last stop on the island was Paleokastritsa and the Holy Monastery of Panagia, where they were given the opportunity to enjoy the emerald waters. On the way they stopped at a kumquat production workshop and tasted and bought local products. On their way back to Larissa they made a short stop in Ioannina for rest and food.

The students were accompanied by teachers Pantelis Hytas, Anna Antonoulis, Gatziona Zoi, Katerina Kothra and Athina Phytili.
