For about 3.5 years, the owner of a house that suffered damage from the killer has been facing the painlessness of the Greek state earthquake the Arkalochori him September 2021.
Speaking on Radio Crete and on Manolis Argyrakis’ show, he described that the house he inherited from his father in Ano Moulia of the municipality of Gortyna, was damaged during the earthquake and is still waiting for a response from the competent agency.
As he said, on February 7, 2022, a committee checked the house after the ecclesiastical strike and what he was told is that the answer as to whether the house is labeled “yellow” or “red” will be given in writing.
However, to his great surprise, after some time he received the report of the three-member committee, he found that it stated that the house did not have a number electricity and water, that it was not damaged by the earthquake and that the building is unused.
According to him, none of this applies since the house was both functional and legal and has electricity and water supply.
Several months later a six-member committee went to the house again and ascertained the damages he had suffered, while what the members of the committee conveyed to him is that he should not proceed with any damage restoration because his file will not be approved and that what should to do is to wait for the ministry’s response.
However, until today according to him, no answer has reached his hands from the competent committee of the Ministry of Infrastructure, with the consequence that he cannot do anything at all to ensure the integrity of the building.
