--

The 6th Youth Conference which was organized by Linguistics for all schools Deeper Learning, held on Saturday 19 March 2024. Teenagers from more than 130 foreign language schools from all over Greece met in Athens and passionately presented theirScreams and Whispers».

Part of his journey Deeper Learning is that the students produce an academic presentation and/or a creative project and the results of this work were seen at the Conference.

We traveled with the students, exploring questions such as ‘Do animals have language?’, ‘What does it mean to be a girl?’, ‘What would the world be like if women didn’t fight for it?’, ‘Why are there wars?’ , “How is teenage life difficult for kids today?”, “What is bad parenting?” and many many more!

6th Youth Conference:

The children danced, sang, shouted loudly and shared their thoughts, concerns, hopes and ideas. Students, teachers and parents sang together ‘We sing without fear’, a song against femicide and abuse and raised their fists together, fighting for a better world.

6th Youth Conference:

The conference was attended by, among others, professor Alcistis Kontogianni, philosophy professor Vassilis Kalfas, the president of Plefsis Eleftherias Zoe Konstantopoulou and many artists and representatives of publishing houses, as well as journalists.

It was a beautiful day for education that reminded us what really matters.

It is worth noting that the Youth Conference does not accept sponsorships, to protect children’s right to freedom of speech.
