In a meeting with leading ministers of the government, he presided today Kyriakos Mitsotakiswith the object of planning and coordinating its actions New Republic throughout the territory, in view of its European elections June 9th.
Organizational issues were discussed at the meeting and preparations made for the pre-election period were reviewed.
At the same time, Mr Prime Minister divided responsibility for the regions of the country into 12 ministers on the way to the European elections. The ministers will be invited to make tours, alone or in groups, while they will also act as “liaisons” with the Maximos Palace.
The “charges” of the ministers per region are as follows:
1) Region of Crete: Kyriakos Pierrakakis
2) Peloponnese Region: Makis Voridis
3) Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace: Christos Staikouras
4) Region of Central Macedonia: Nikos Dendias
5) North Aegean Region: Dimitris Kairides
6) Region of Western Macedonia: Adonis Georgiadis
7) Region of Epirus: Kostas Skrekas
8) Region of Thessaly: Kostis Hatzidakis
9) Region of Western Greece: Lefteris Avgenakis
10) Region of Central Greece: Sofia Zaharaki
11) Region of the Ionian Islands: Olga Kefalogianni
12) South Aegean Region: Domna Michailidou
