The DEDDIE Offices in Athens were visited by the Member of Parliament for Larissa of the ND Christos Kapetanos, who held a working meeting with the Managing Director of DEDDIE Anastasios Manos, with the main topic being the restoration of the damages suffered by the PPC networks due to the catastrophic natural disaster. In particular, he requested an additional crew to restore the damages concerning transformers, either blown fuses or damaged networks. Especially in the areas of Killeler, Farsala and Agia, the damage is serious and farmers are facing a serious problem to irrigate their fields, especially now that the irrigation season is starting.

Mr. Manos committed and has already started the procedures for sending a workshop from Alexandroupoli that will speed up the restoration of the damages.

Then Mr. Kapetanos raised the issue of the upgrade of the Station in Makrychori, which will help Tempi and Agia to have no interruptions in the electricity supply, a fact as emphasized by the management of DEDDIE, which is progressing normally with a three-year implementation horizon.

Reference was also made to the issue of the network at the Larisa Public Utilities Commission, where dozens of businesses need to save electricity in order to continue their operations.

Finally, the politician from Larisa raised the issue of the relocation of photovoltaics that have sunk under the water, especially in the area of ​​Karla, with the management of DEDDIE showing understanding in solving this issue.

After the meeting with the managing director of DEDDIE, Mr. Kapetanos said: I sincerely thank Mr. Manos managing director of DEDDIE for his prompt reflexes in quickly dealing with the damages caused by the weather in the DEDDIE network in the fields of Larissa farmers. Sending an extra crew saves hours of work for our farmers.
