A meeting regarding the cooperation of the Municipality of Tinos with the Cultural Foundation of the Piraeus group – Tinos Marble Crafts Museum, and the new data formed by the development project of upgrading and modernizing the Preparatory and Vocational School of Fine Arts Panormos Tinos, was held at the office of the Mayor Tinos.
The meeting was attended by the mayor Mr. Panagiotis Krontiras, the Deputy Mayor of Education Mrs. Penelope Trigoni, Mrs. Alexandra Rapti Director of the Cultural Foundation of the Piraeus Group, Mr. Andreas Laportas Head of the P.I.O.P. Museum Service, Mrs. Maria Hounda Head of the Technical Service P.I.O.P. and of course the Director of the Preparatory and Vocational School of Fine Arts Panormos Tinos Mr. Leonidas Halepas.
The discussion developed in a very positive atmosphere, with a spirit of mutual understanding and a commitment on both sides for good cooperation and a substantial resolution of the issues that arise regarding the project of upgrading the Preparatory and Vocational School of Fine Arts Panormos Tinos.
The mayor, Mr. P. Krontiras, declared his support for the Piraeus Group Cultural Foundation – Tinos Marble Museum and emphasized that the presence of the Museum in the Tower of Tinos is important and is a special honor for the whole island.
