Ingredients to make the authentic Thessaloniki bun:
• 1 kilo of all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon of sugar
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• Water as much as it takes and depending on how absorbent the flour is
• Sesame seeds for the top of the buns

How to make the authentic Thessaloniki bun:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Mix the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl.
3. Add the water little by little, mixing until a uniform dough is formed that does not stick to your hands.
4. Form small balls with the dough and then give them the desired shape of the Thessaloniki pretzels.
5. Place the pretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Lightly lift their top with a knife and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden.
