The Directorate of Primary Education of Larissa, in collaboration with the Members of the four-member Action Group for the Prevention and Counteraction of School Violence and Bullying, which is constituted by the Director of Primary Education of Larisa, Mr. Karagiorgou Aikaterini, as President and the Education Advisor, branch PE70, Mr. Georgios Maggopoulos, the Psychologist, PE23 branch, Mrs. Savourdou Irini and the Social Worker, PE30 branch, Mrs. Zerva Georgia, as Members, organizes an educational Day with the theme “School violence and bullying: prevention, intervention and good practices in school and family“, which will take place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 10:00-14:00, in the auditorium of the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa – G. I. Katsigra Museum.

The Conference is open to the public and aims to train the teachers of the School Units of the Directorate of Primary Education of Larissa, who will be called upon to handle incidents of intra-school violence and bullying, as well as to inform and raise the awareness of the parents/guardians of students of School Units of Primary and Secondary Education, but also of the local community as a whole, in this critical issue.

The invited speakers, with deep knowledge of the phenomenon and with many years of experience in dealing with it, will help the educational community and any interested party to understand it more deeply, to search for and apply the best practices in dealing with it.
