The “Burn the Cycle” it is an attempt to study life, but also an anthem of the struggle to make it better. The social issues of today, exploitation, war, injustice, the stress of everyday life are there, accompanied by a different point of view and approach.
Musically, the album pulses with fast-paced rhythms supported by inventive bass lines, which lay its foundation. The different sounds of the guitars, sometimes electrifying and aggressive, sometimes soft and subtle, provide the soundscape to complete the picture.
A few words about the band:
The Black Body Radiation it is one post-punk quintet, created in 2015 in Athens. It got its current lineup in 2020.
In the summer of 2015 they released their first EP, “Master of Yourself”in a first attempt to capture the effect of their combined diverse influences, ranging from post-hardcore and heavy metal to indie pop and progressive rock.

Having suffered long periods of hiatus due to external commitments and covid, the band has charted a new path in the last two years, adding a third guitar capable of complementing its rich sound and leading it to her first LP, “Burn the Cycle”. The album was recorded at Plankton and Encore Music Studios by Thodori Zevkiliwho also signed the mixing/mastering done at SCA Studios, as well as the production together with the band.

With the official first full-length album and the possibilities of their new sound, Black Body Radiation reintroduce themselves to the public and predispose us to an impetuous live on May 11.
They will be joined by their friends on the IΛION Plus stage Common People and Jimmy Knowswho will preface the presentation with their music.
