“This morning a dog attacked a child who was in his mother’s arms. They literally snatched it from her hands and attacked him.
“The veterinary service will take both dogs, which do not belong to the family affected by the tragedy, but to another family that lives in the same residence. It was a terrifying attack and although one of the child’s uncles tried to free him, nothing could be done.
This is a tragedy that has shocked the entire community and should act as a warning to those who have dogs of this breed, which are special and have specific needs. We have to be careful with these dogs,” the mayor said.
