Kostas CHATZIS. The leading singer and songwriter with the special “rasp” in his voice and his guitar has a unique way of communicating with the audience. His songs have managed to touch everyone’s souls and take us to worlds where “Love knows no borders” but also “Love endures all”!
Kostas Hatzis is a special case in the history of Greek song. His reputation as a singer of peace often precedes his name. The songs he chose to perform throughout these years of his long musical career are ballads that contain intense social criticism. All the great composers of the time such as Manos Hadjidakis, Mimis Plessas, Mikis Theodorakis, Yiannis Markopoulos and Stavros Xarchakos give him to perform their songs to which he gives his own style.
