Kos: The parents of the infant who died of drowning are in front of the prosecutor
The parents of the infant in Kos who died of suffocation on Saturday night are expected to be brought before the prosecutor.
The parents face the charge of fatal exposure of a minor, while at the same time they will be asked to answer for the abrasions that the little child brought to his body. The parents, who were staying temporarily in Kos, claim that the bruises and scratches found on the baby’s body were made by his two-year-old brother.
The infant was taken unconscious to the Kos hospital, with signs that suggested sexual abuse, with bruises and abrasions on various parts of his body, a fact that mobilized the doctors and notified the authorities. According to the medical examiner, the bruises on the baby’s body are older, while there is no evidence of sexual abuse.
Then, they were brought to T.A. Both the baby’s mother and his father, who in the meantime had gone to the hospital, were killed. Both said the infant’s injuries were the result of either being hit by his 2-year-old brother or some sort of accident, and they said they were unaware of any signs of sexual abuse.
It is noted that 10 affidavits have been received from the doctor of the Kos hospital, the EKAV rescuers and the residents who helped the mother.
