From the cops Another person was arrested by the Police Departments of Achaia, Akarnania and Aetolia and a total of seven cases were filed for cases of domestic violence in Western Greece.
In particular according with the police:
A) In Patras
1. A case file was filed against a man, who was reported by his wife, that he insulted her, threatened her, used illegal violence against her and caused simple bodily harm to her.
2. A case was filed against a woman, who was reported by her ex-partner, for domestic threat.
B) In Agrinio
3. A domestic violence and privacy case was filed against a man who was reported by his estranged wife to have entered her home against her will and caused her bodily harm. In addition, according to the complaint, the accused videotaped the victim with a mobile phone, abused her and took away her mobile phone and keys, with the intention of misappropriating them. Finally, the sufferer complained that he was causing her fear and anxiety as he followed her for a period of one month.
4. A case was filed for attempted rape and domestic violence, against a man who was reported by his estranged wife, stating that he abused her and tried to have intercourse with her without her consent, which she resisted. In addition, according to her complaint, the defendant from 18-4-2024 to 21-04-2024 threatened the victim, causing her fear and anxiety.
5. A case was filed against a man, who was reported by his father, because he verbally threatened him, causing him fear and anxiety.
C) In Thermo
6. A case was filed against a man, who was reported by a woman for making a domestic threat over the phone and causing damage to her home.
D) In Messolonghi
7. Yesterday morning, in Messolonghi, a man was arrested, against whom a case file had been filed, following a complaint by his partner for domestic physical harm and threats, revenge pornography, as well as violation of the privacy of telephone communication and oral conversation, for operations performed from the year 2020 until 18-04-2024.
In an investigation carried out by the police officers of the Messolonghi Security Department at the home of the accused in the area of Messolonghi, they found and confiscated a wireless network camera, a laptop and three mobile phones.
The indictments filed against the defendants were submitted to the competent local Prosecutors.
