At a time when Dreams are missing… the COM.S.EP. ANEMOTIAS VOLTAGE and the ANEMOTIAS WINDOWNERS ASSOCIATION OF LESVOS “O KAMPOS” invite the residents of Lesvos and visitors, known and unknown friends, to the Open Event of tasting of Fresh and Old wines entitled “The Share of the Angels”, which will take place in the welcoming premises of the Cooperative .
Every year, from every tank and wooden barrel of wine maturing, about 2% is lost. Evaporates and disappears forever…! This is what we call “the portion of the angels.”“…!!
In a spontaneous ritual and participative process we will open tanks with fresh and oak barrels with aged Volcanic wines of the Co.S.Ep.. We will meet in alcoholic aromas and flavors, we will come together talking, drinking, eating and singing.
This “Symposium Meeting” aims to mobilize the members of the local communities, to communicate, to share experiences and to search for our lost dreams…!!
The program will start at 11.30 in the morning, with a relaxing tour of the traditional settlement of Anemotia, with its elaborately carved stone houses and the artistic aura of the famous local stonemasons.
On the way back, at 13.00, the opening of the fresh and old wines that will fill the guests’ glasses will begin..!!
The “Christos Atsikvasis” tasting room will be open for tastings of the wines of the Co.S.Ep., against the backdrop of the Photography Exhibition of Giorgos Pteroundiou and the theme – what else – landscapes of Anemotia.
At the same time, visitors will be shown the Documentary which presents the evolution of the Green Fund’s work for the revitalization of degraded land, the creation of the model organic vineyard and the rescue of native grape varieties.
Meanwhile, the coals will be lit, where meat and vegetables will be roasted. Everyone can contribute deliciously, with your own specialties and your favorite snacks, by bringing food to the self-managed kitchen/grill (meats, stews, pies, salads, etc.), which will be cooked and… available, on the spot.. .
Another all-day meeting from below with food, plenty of fresh and aged wine, good music and beautiful company…!!
Let’s pour some wine from our glass (a sip, maybe two) on the soil…a libation for our Angels…
