Placement work fiber optics in Kaminia of Heraklion, but without measures that really protect the citizens, complains a reader. As he points out work well done, however there are dangers for passing pedestrians and drivers.

Reader message

“In Kaminia, work is being done to install optical fiber. So far so good. However, as you can see in the photos I will send you, there is not a single safety measure, that is, they have not somehow blocked off either the entire road or the holes so that a bicycle does not fall. some motorbike, some human, some kid and hit it.Also I would like to know: are the machines you see in the photo allowed to be parked there all weekend? Also a large coil of cable as you see in the photo is on a crosswalk. I have absolutely no problem with the work being done, but I think the issue of safety is important, shouldn’t something be done? Or should someone knock first and then highlight the issue?”
