During the period from April 10 to 14, 2024, the 40th Panhellenic Conference of the Hellenic National Section of the International Police Union (I.P.A.) was held on the island of the Knights, in beautiful Rhodes.
In an announcement by the Local Administration of Larissa, the following are highlighted:
“The Conference was attended by representatives of the Local Commands of the International Police Union from all over Greece, the Presidium of the Global Division (I.E.B.) etc. Martin HOFFMAN (World President) & Michael WALSH (World Vice President), members of the World Audit Committee which met in Rhodes, representatives (15) of foreign National Departments and specifically the I.R.A. National Departments. : Cyprus- Albania- Austria- Bulgaria- Israel- Montenegro- Poland- Romania- Serbia- United Kingdom- Switzerland- Germany- Estonia- Malta, as well as the European Association of Friends of the Cyprus Police.
From the Local Administration of Larissa, the President Mr. Kalaboukas Achilleas, the First Vice President Mr. Zachos Sotirios, the General Secretary Ms. Liakou Afroditis, the daughter of C. Secretary Mrs. Haretidou Maria, the Treasurer Mr. Lambrou Theologis, the Hon. Treasurer Mr. Zourladanis Dimitrios and the President of the Audit Committee Ms. Paschalaki Maria, while our Local delegation was graced with the presence of the head of the Forensic Service of Larissa, Ms. Leontari Rubini.
During the work, an Honorary Distinction was awarded by the Social Affairs Committee of the National Department for the effort, through our actions, to put into practice the principles and ideals of our Union ΄΄solidarity-mutual aid΄΄, always with the support of the our members, whom we thank.
Finally, we would like to express our warm congratulations to the National Department and the Local Administration of the Dodecanese for the flawless organization of the Conference and their unparalleled hospitality, giving us unforgettable moments from their beautiful place”.
