Video of the arson attack on a car in Patisia – A tree caught fire, apartments in an apartment building were at risk

In the early hours of Monday (22/4) two vehicles were set ablaze in Patisia.

According to the information, the arson attack occurred around 5:00 in the morning on a car parked on Kavtanzoglou Street, at the junction with Samara Street. However, a second vehicle directly behind was also seriously damaged.

Material damage to an apartment building from the fire

It is noted that the flames reached a considerable height, as a tree caught fire which was located next to the car where the arson attack took place and there was material damage to apartments in the apartment building. At the same time, the explosion shattered the windows in an adjacent shop, while it was also threatened to catch fire.

The Hellenic Police has taken over the preliminary investigation into the incident that disturbed the neighborhood of Kavtantzoglou Street.

According to a relevant information from the Fire Department, six firefighters rushed to the scene with two vehicles and managed to quickly bring the fire under control.
