The meteorological conditions favor the transport of African dustwhich in the south will show increased concentrations in the atmosphere, on Monday according to the EMY forecast.

In detail, for Monday, EMY predicts sparse clouds intermittently thicker with local rains.

Visibility in the morning hours in the western continental areas will be locally limited.

Gradual prevalence of east southeast winds with strengthened intensities in the southern country locally at 6 to 7 and gradually at sea up to 8 Beaufort.

The temperature will rise mainly in the west and south. It will reach 20 to 22 degrees in the north, 23 to 25 in the rest of the continent and 26 to 28 degrees Celsius in Crete.

Scattered clouds in Attica intermittently denser with a few local rains of short duration to be expected in the morning and evening hours. The winds will blow variable 3 to 4 and from the morning hours east southeast, gradually up to 5 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 14 to 23 degrees Celsius.

At Thessaloniki, sparse clouds that will gradually thicken, while from the evening there will be local rains. The winds will blow northwest 3 to 4, in the morning hours until 5 and from the afternoon southeast. The temperature will vary between 12 and 22 degrees Celsius
